Experience the outskirts of Sydney and some of the area's finest wines on this wonderful 10-hour Wine Tasting & Gourmet Lunch Tour.

Travel in style in a luxury Mercedes 14-passenger van, equipped with a TV, DVD player, refrigerator, comfortable seats and headrests. Take a 2-hour drive north to the Australian wine country located in the Hunter Valley. The tour guide will explain your day's activities and tell you about Australia's unique history, its wine and culture.

The tour will make a stop at the Iron Gate Estate in Hunter Valley. A wine tasting and a behind-the-scenes tour of the wine-making process will be included here.

From there, the guide leads you to several more of the valley's estimated 80+ wineries. The tours tend to include 3-5 formal group wine tastings. You will have the chance to participate in more wine tasting at lunch (lunch is included in the ticket price. Or, you can choose to do some cheese tastings, visit a chocolate shop or browse the area shops and galleries.

Children are welcome on this tour, but must be age 18 or older to consume wine.

Summary: Tour includes hotel pickups and drop-offs for hotels in Sydney's Central Business District, Kings Cross, Potts Point, Darling Harbour, The Rocks and along the Pacific Highway by prior arrangement. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

For lunch, the tour visits the Hunter Valley Gardens Village for 60 to 90 minutes to enjoy a two-course gourmet lunch (and a complimentary glass of wine) at one of the wineries' award-winning restaurants.

More wine tastings will be done in the valley's fabulous wineries after lunch before returning to Sydney in the late afternoon. The on-board refrigerator has plenty of room to store your purchases!

And, this tour is about more than just wine tasting. It provides a great chance to see some of the countryside outside of Sydney, where you can spot some of the local wildlife along the way. (Apparently, kangaroos love the Hunter Valley vineyards!)
